Just came back from Negeri Sembilan. Went there for three days for a homestay holiday. Set off on thursday so missed the NDP. 6 o'clock went to simei first and from there the vans mummy hired took us to Tanjong Pagar train station(yes Singapore has a train station). Had breakfast then get all our luggage. Altogether there were 34 of us. Quite alot for a family holiday. The train ride was about 4hrs. Reached Gemas around 2. There, a bus and the head of the homestay programme and we set off to the kampung where we were going to stay for the next 2 nights. The kampung name was kampung Lonek. It was a nice place but it was seriously hot and there were alot of mosquitos.

!FIRST DAY \\ 9/8/2007

Spent the whole morning at the train station/the train. On the train, slept most of the time and talked to this Dutch mother and daughter from Amsterdam, Holland. They were super nice can? Reached Kampung Lonek and had lunch first. Then we all relax for the rest of the day. Went to the nearby shop, which is not really nearby. It was about a 15 minute walk from the house all 32 of us were staying in. Our hosts said that the shop wasnt so far away. Well, it wasn't really far when you take the scooter there, which was the residents favourite mode of transportation. Walked there and brought ice-cream and had ice-cream soda. All the sodas that were there were in bottles and not cans. Then dinner and the watched some teevee. Slept close to one and lesson learnt that day ; mosquitos are bloody blood suckers and their bites hurt.

!SECOND DAY \\ 10/8/2007

Woke up early and slept after waking up. Went to the padi field first but it isn't fruiting when we got there. Then walked to the dragon fruit plantation. Tasted dragon fruit there and I was effing pissed with my mum and bro when we were leaving the padi field up until after the dragon fruit tasting session and the visit to some famous writer's house. Then my uncle hurt his head ad totally beacame gong-gong soon after. Before dinner we went to play some kampung games and saw how dodol is being made. Then washed up and set off to dinner. Had bbq dinner. We were accompanied by some traditional music. Then got this one female singer about 15 like that so effing minah sia! Then slept late again.

!LAST DAY \\ 10/8/2007

Left early. Set off to the old palace of the king(i think) of Negeri Sembilan. Then take landscape and the set off to the river waterfall nearby. Since I didn't want to swim, went hiking and canopy photo taking with daddy, uncle yazid, momok, kak aisyah and some others. It was quite a hike but we didn't reach the top as it was too far and God was it hard to just get up to the first check point. Then went to swim a bit in the river. Damn cold sia the water. Hiked down and ate there. Then it started to rain. Washed up and went back to the bus. It was super cold can? Then went to the museum of arts and crafts. After taht went to Nilai 3 for some shopping. Bought a Harry Potter t-shirt. Actually wanted to buy another MTV shirt but decided against it. Went back to the bus and we went back to Seremban where we were going to take our train back. Before that go for dinner at The Chicken Rice Shop. Then played with an OSIM iGallop while waiting for the adults to load the luggage. Then bought Starbucks Caramel Frap. Went to train station, waited for train and slept the whole journey back to S'pore.Woke up when we reached Johor imigration. While waiting to reach Woodlands, went out of the train for a while. Cramp ahh sit so long on the train.Cleared imigration,went to Tanjong Pagar. Breakfast there. Went back with ibu. Fetched bibik, got home, bathed, sleep. Then got ingredients ready for homec. I wanna sleeeppp!
